Ukrainian artist Yuriy Mikhailov (a.k.a. meHiLove) recently showcased the single "4U" on Silk Textures; we're now privileged to feature a wonderful follow-up, "Under The Rain," on Arrival. On remix detail, we enthusiastically welcome back Austrian producer Volant (a.k.a. Blend), as well as American label veteran eleven.five.
The Original Mix begins with a strong groove, with hypnotizing background stabs. Soon thereafter, a well-crafted bassline enters the mix, surrounded by a delightful piano line. The break showcases this piano melody in full effect, while introducing an accompanying sidechained theme lead.
Volant provides us with the first remix. A strong rhythm is quickly established, which is enhanced by numerous intriguing sound effects. A number of arpeggio leads emerge later, and in the break, a lush theme lead is introduced, which plays remarkably well with the piano melody from the original.
eleven.five's remix starts off with an enjoyable rhythm, surrounded by an array of mesmerizing sound effects. The pads spice up the atmosphere and are highlighted later on in the main break, which features several synth leads that coalesce mellifluously.
